Peter Lee
As Head of Operations at Oakdene Hollins, Peter has project managed and written major studies on resource efficiency, sustainability, carbon reduction and energy, with much of his focus being on the food manufacturing and retail sectors. Areas of specialism include: waste prevention, waste logistics and reverse supply chains, packaging and waste management in the food and drink industry, environmental impact assessments, and recycling technologies. He managed a project to develop and implement an award-winning in-store dispensing system, and has written on the light-weighting of glass containers, the export of cullet, and the economics of glass container manufacture. He has worked with manufacturing sector clients to develop and implement waste prevention through Lean techniques, in which he is an expert.
