Biogas & AD - Curated By ADBA

14 Sep 2022
Energy from Waste Theatre

This session hosted by ADBA chairman Chris Huhne, and featuring representatives from BioCapital, Ashfords and LARAC, will explain how waste managers and local authorities can cut costs and carbon emissions as well as improve air quality by fuelling their refuse collection vehicle (RCV) fleets with biomethane produced from the organic wastes that is collected -a perfect circular economy model!

Local Authorities are under impending obligations under the Environment Act to collect food waste separately by (or from? never sure which is correct) 2023 and will therefore need to put the structure in place to implement those directives. This session aims to provide guidance to them in successfully doing so.

Chris Huhne, Chairman - Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association
David McKee, Chief Technical Officer - BioCapital
John Coates, Head of External Affairs - LARAC
