The Joint Unit for Waste Crime has been operating since January 2020.  This session will provide some examples of the work we are doing across our partnership network to tackle organised criminality in the waste sector.  It will cover some of the most common areas of ‘polycriminality’ we are facing and how we using the resources, powers, and commitment of the JUWC partners to collectively tackle some of the most complex issues.

The session will also include the story of the formation of the National Infrastructure Crime Reduction Partnership (NICRP) and how a simple idea is helping keep the country running.
