With sustainability, environmental protection and climate change now firmly on the agenda and in the cross hairs of the Government and campaigners alike, there is likely to be a significant effect on the waste industry as businesses look to future proof activities and operations to avoid the pitfalls of ever changing environmental regulation.

In this seminar we aim to navigate these challenging topics and the impact they may have on the sector by explaining the EA’s role in regulating operations, the recent policy announcements and the Environment Bill and how these may influence decision making by organisations and businesses. We will then discuss what to look out for when undertaking due diligence to protect against either regulatory action or unforeseen liability.
