Over the past years, people have been looking at plastics with a magnifying glass. This intent look has resulted in proposals for levies, bans, voluntary agreements, and increase in legislation. However, to meet the requirements of new legislation, what is required of the plastics market? This session will highlight facts and figures that define the recycling rates achieved for plastics packaging. It will also show how responsibility and funding could be allocated through different areas of the supply chain and what may be required to hit higher plastics recycling targets in the future.
