Don’t forget about actually doing something – changing our behaviour

Circular Economy Theatre

Waste and resource management has evolved over the decades from risk-based approaches to a focus on opportunity. Policy and industry discussions have changed from recycling and landfill diversion, to decarbonisation, circular systems, and leakage.  One thing that has remained consistent is the need for changes in behaviour.

This session will show the importance of behaviour change across all hierarchies, waste, energy, carbon, water and how it may not receive the attention required. It will explain the different behavioural change models and how the delivery of system-based strategies may not be focusing on the right areas to deliver the changes required.
