Food for Life
Food for Life was delighted to attend and exhibit at RWM 2019. Visitors would have found them on stand R118, where they showcased their Green Kitchen Standard to caterers from all sectors.
The Green Kitchen Standard has been running for two years and has seen great take up particularly with school caterers and universities who recognise the environmental value of the scheme and point of difference it brings between you and your competitors. The criteria that form part of the framework helps organisations to embed practical, cultural and policy related change that brings about positive environmental gain through reducing energy and water use, and food waste; saving money and improving environmental performance.
Food for Life also ran a seminar, which went into more detail about how to achieve the standard, meet the criteria and promote the benefits of the scheme.
