Building Sector resilience: what 2020 taught us and what happens next
The Scottish Resource Conference, delivered in partnership by CIWM, Zero Waste Scotland and SEPA, is a prominent annual event that shines a spotlight on resources and waste management in Scotland, exploring emerging issues within the sector and how to facilitate Scotland’s transition to a circular economy.
The theme of this year’s virtual event, taking place as a 90-minute interactive webinar session, is ‘Building Sector Resilience: what 2020 taught us and what happens now’.
The webinar will explore how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted Scotland and its journey towards a circular economy. A panel of experts from government planning, green finance, behaviour change, local authorities and the private sector will present an accurate ‘health check’ of the resources sector in Scotland and will discuss what needs to happen to build back better, greener and more resilient than before
