Must sees at RWM - Panel Debates
What I am sure we can all agree on is that RWM is more than just a trade exhibition. It has an educational seminar and panel debate program that truly positions it at the centre of the recycling and waste management industry.
This year, the panel debate seminar hall is sponsored by Wamitab, who have helped us organise what promises to be one of the highlights of the entire RWM event. It will host the inaugural Equality Panel, that will be chaired by Beverley Simonson, Local Authority Support Manager for the London Waste and Recycling Board. The panel will cover a range of topics such as the barriers of entry for certain industries, the importance of employing a diverse workforce, and what ways can we change the language used to shape certain industries to become more inclusive and appealing to all genders, so you will definitely not want to miss the very first Equality Panel at RWM.
There is a debate on Deposit & Refund schemes and where do we take them from here. You will see businesses such as Coca-Cola European Partners, Suez recycling and recovery UK, Environmental Services Association, Alupro, and Eunomia Research and Consulting Ltd involved in this debate, so a wide range of organisations and industries will be giving their opinion on it.
You can expect lots of other panel debates covering different subjects including: legislation briefing, operations briefing, policy briefing, UN Sustainable Development Goals, sector expansion and convergence, the effects of digitalisation, and making the resource management sector an attractive career choice for millenials.
Everyone here at RWM would like to thank Wamitab for helping us plan and execute the panel debates, resulting in what promises to be a highly successful feature of the event. You can plan what panel debates you want to see over the course of the two days by following the link to the panel debate timetable.
