That’s a Wrap
With RWM and its co-located shows just two weeks away, we are completing the final touches on what promises to be the best RWM event to date. With one of the best seminar and panel debate lineups that any recycling and waste management exhibition has seen, coupled with the 500+ market-leading exhibitors, you definitely do not want to miss RWM 2019.
Every year, with around three or four weeks to go before the doors open, all of our pre-registered visitors are sent their tickets and complimentary show guides in the post. However, this year, we have received comments on our social media channels regarding how we send out our show guides.
Indeed, the show guides are delivered using magazine polywrap.
Several comments have been made online about the packaging, with people saying it is counter-intuitive for a recycling and waste management event to send out show guides and tickets in plastic — creating more waste.
We can assure you that we have thought about this, and as you can see in the top left hand side of your ticket page, the magazine polywrap is able to be recycled at carrier bag collection points at local supermarkets. And depending on where you live, it may even be able to be recycled at the kerbside.
Other comments suggested that the show guides are also created out of a substantial amount of paper. Again, we have ensured that the paper used in our show guides are sourced by FSC, meaning that the paper is sourced responsibly and is environmentally appropriate, reflecting the message of RWM as a whole.
RWM is first and foremost an educational event for the recycling and waste management industry. We hope that the exhibition has a positive impact on the way businesses and individuals view waste produced around the world - and that attitudes towards waste are improved.
If you haven’t registered for your free ticket to RWM or any of the co-located shows, ensure that you order it now, in order to receive your free, recyclable show guide in the post.
