We can offer sound environmental solutions and pragmatic commercial advice. Gregory Environmental Consulting Ltd (GECL) is an independent UK based consultancy with the technical knowledge and international experience to offer environmental solutions and pragmatic advice in waste and resource management; renewable energy (primarily Landfill Gas, Anaerobic Digestion, and Biomethane); and landfill aftercare management and redevelopment.
GECL builds client focussed project teams from an extensive network of associates, to serve client needs across the whole project cycle, or we can be embedded within your team to deliver specific projects from due diligence acquisitions and divestitures to environmental assessment, operations and compliance; technology review and design; site redevelopment; and expert witness.
GECL has over 30 years international LFG and AD project experience throughout the UK and Europe, Turkey and the Middle East, North America, Central America, South Africa, Hong Kong, and Australia.
Dr Gregory also served as a Review Editor for the Waste Management Chapter of the Third Volume (Mitigation) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report on Climate Change 2006. This monumental report promoted modern waste management strategies such as LFGTE, AD and WTE Incineration, and led to the IPCC being jointly awarded (alongside Al Gore for his film "The Inconvenient Truth") the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
