The Packaging Spotlight is where visitors can learn about new packaging techniques and materials and discover where products fit into the circular economy.
Topics will include, EPR, compliance, new packaging materials and technologies, and case studies on dealing with different types of packaging.

Michael Stephen is a lawyer, and was a member of the UK Parliament, where he served on the Environment Select Committee.
He is now a Director of the Symphony group of companies, and Chairman of the Oxo-biodegradable Plastics Association. He writes a weekly column in Bioplastics News.

Gary Tee has been involved in the flexible packaging industry for over 30 years. Driven by sustainability, Gary takes pride in helping retailers, brands, and converters make the switch to compostable flexible packaging and helping them address the growing problem of plastic waste.
Prior to TIPA, Gary held positions in R&D, Innovation, Sales, Marketing, and Senior Management. His extensive knowledge brought him to TIPA®, a world leader in compostable flexible packaging, where he works as the Regional Sales Director for UK, Ireland, East Europe, France, and Benelux.

Alex joined Tetra Pak in 1998 in Denmark and held various positions within Processing & Services in Business Unit Ice cream before he took the role as Key Account Manager in Tetra Pak Egypt in 2012. He has held leadership positions in several countries and was appointed to Customer Management Director for Greater Middle East & Africa in 2017 and most recently as Director Customer & Strategic Account Management, based in Switzerland.
In September 2020, Alex was appointed to the role of Managing Director North Europe at Tetra Pak, with overall responsibility for the market operations in North Europe, consisting of 10 countries.

Neil joined Zotefoams in September 2020, taking responsibility for the commercial development of ReZorce® recyclable mono-material barrier packaging. Neil’s previous roles include Business Unit Director for Jabil’s European food and beverage business and Commercial Director with responsibility for major clients and business development across EMEA, Asia and North America for Nampak. Prior to that, Neil held senior roles with Nestlé, Mondelez and Northern Foods. He was appointed a Council Member for the British Plastics Federation in 2017.
