Hybrid Systems for Waste to Energy Process

Nowadays paying attention to waste valorization and to the environment and at the same time lowering emissions, has become a focal point for our society: Biomass Plants are a good investment to reach these goals. Uniconfort with its internal R&D Department studies, develops and manufactures technical solutions to maximize efficiency of energy production and to lower emissions. Our presentation is about new technological solutions applied to our Plants.

A virtual journey through processing RDF into a valuable energy source

Join Tidy Planet, Turboden, and Sugimat as they provide an overview of their scalable, decentralised Waste-to-Energy (WtE) solutions that meet the UK’s needs for energy recovery from RDF and SRF.

The presentation will take delegates on a virtual journey where RDF and SRF are used to produce Energy-from-Waste in an industry- leading thermal oil boiler and ORC generator – including how it’s directly combusted to produce heat and electricity efficiently.

Practical implications of implementing the Waste Incineration BREF from an emission monitoring prospective

Following the publication of the Waste Incineration Bref on 3rd December 2019, this presentation will look at how the regulators are looking to implement the Waste Incineration Brief in the UK and Europe including the setting of the new emission limit values. Unlike the previous Waste Incineration BREF there is now a range of emission limit values which will have implications for site operators of both existing installations and new sites. This in turn will also have implications for suppliers of emission monitoring and stack testers doing the periodic monitoring.

From Waste to Value

Today, more than ever, companies are faced with rising waste disposal costs and legislation aimed at reducing waste, while encouraging recycling. Furthermore, companies are being challenged by governments and consumers, to demonstrate lower CO2 emissions and circular economy initiatives.

We would like to present the technology and innovative solutions to meet these challenging requirements. The carbonization technology can transform waste into value-added products – biochar and energy - , while providing a proven solution to help lower the Carbon Footprint as well as “closing the loop” and demonstrating a true Circular Economy.
