The organisers of this year’s Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition (RWM 09), taking place at the Birmingham NEC from 15 to 17 September 2009, have had to increase the floor plan in order to accommodate demand from additional exhibitors, including a new Korean Pavilion packed with innovative environmental technologies.
More than 20 manufacturers from Ecotain and Ezen Telecom to Techno Bio and Sampyung will feature on the Korean Pavilion, showcasing a comprehensive array of recycling and waste management products. Innovations on show for the first time in the UK will include Korean mobile waste bins, sludge and waste carbonation systems, recycled PVC fencing, biomass energy, wood pellets & boilers, carbon fibre heaters, recycled rubber road mats, dead battery regenerators, incinerators, solar energy systems, fuel-saving enzymatic additives, vortex generating filtration systems and food waste dehydrating disposal units.
“The Korean Government and local authorities are investing heavily in sustainable solutions for the global recycling and waste management industry which have grown over 60% in Korea since 2000,” says Eugene Yoon, spokesperson for the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). “The Korean Pavilion at RWM 09 is an ideal place for the UK, Europe and Korea to share environmental experience and innovation and to develop closer co-operation for mutual benefit.”
With over 500 exhibiting companies, three seminar theatres and a new networking zone, RWM 09 is the biggest event of its kind in the UK offering unparalleled opportunities to network, learn and do business. Other prominent companies that have recently signed up to exhibit at the show include Severnside, the Waste Recycling Group, Gypsum Recycling, RUF, Jarshire, Europe Recycling and Metso Lindemann. Geesink Norba have also doubled their space.
