“The Recycling and Waste Management exhibition is extremely important to us for networking and to hear about all the latest industry news. It’s also great to see practical solutions from companies which help resource efficiency and waste management. It certainly provided me with plenty of ideas to take away!"
Sarah Watson, Sustainability Consultant, Coventry City Council
“For those of you who were unable to make the show this year, you missed a good one. This show was one of the most comprehensive waste management shows that I have attended in recent years. With in excess of 500 trade exhibition stands covering three halls, there was something there for everyone…”
Jeremy Jacobs, Association for Organics Recycling, Acting Chief Executive
“What’s hit me this year is the sheer scale both in terms of the area and the diversity of the representation. We are seeing a lot of companies that are linked in with the conventional engineering sector and it’s great now that waste and materials management is becoming mainstream.”
Peter Jones OBE, a member of Boris Johnson’s recently formed London Waste & Recycling Board and a former director of Biffa
“RWM is a worthwhile visit. It’s an ideal place to meet with contractors/suppliers, keep up to date with new developments in the marketplace, network, share best practice and improve knowledge in the waste management sector. This year was the first time I attended the free seminars in the TCC and LARAC sectors. I attended the AD presentation on Weds which was an honest and interesting presentation. Also the West/Mid Sussex presentation again honest and relaxed, ideal forum to share best practices. Would seek to attend the free seminars again.”
Waste Strategy and Recycling Officer, Flintshire County Council
“It's a buzzing market place where you can meet your clients whilst walking on the fair ground.”
Head of Infrastructure Europe, NORD/LB
“Looking to tender for containers, I was able to meet potential suppliers, assess the quality and range of their products and develop an understanding of the options available.”
Head of Waste Services, London Borough of Bromley
“Each year it is good to see representation from the developing markets. This year it was noticeable that the issue of food waste recycling is being addressed by more companies.”
Associate, Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd
“As a new incumbent to waste, I found the show of enormous benefit.”
Waste Minimisation Officer, Swindon Borough Council
