Envirolink Northwest will be hosting a Pavilion at this year’s RWM event, showcasing their own unrivalled support services and the offerings of a number of successful North West based companies from the recycling and waste arena.
Established in 2000, Envirolink Northwest is a not for profit organisation helping to develop and grow the Low Carbon Environmental Goods and Services sector in the North West of England.
Since April 2009, Envirolink Northwest’s Recycling and Waste programme has helped secure 498 jobs and create 97 jobs. More than £17 million has been invested into the Northwest’s Recycling and Waste sector and over 855,000 tonnes of waste has been diverted from landfill.
Via the recycling and waste programme Envirolink Northwest aims to develop the North West region as a centre of excellence for recycling and waste technologies, services and innovation, by providing a professional programme that promotes and supports the growth of businesses in this highly competitive sector.
To showcase the region’s strengths and capabilities Envirolink Northwest will be exhibiting at this year’s RWM event along with a number of North West companies at the NEC Birmingham from 14-16 September 2010. Reform Energy Ltd
There are 2 divisions within Reform Energy Ltd. The Projects side is in the process of arranging planning applications for its first waste to energy plants across the North West of England. These will be fuelled by the none recyclable waste from skip collection services. The plants will all be 10MWe in size. The Products division is a marketing and sales operation for energy saving and producing products. Vicinia Ltd
Aerosols are classified as hazardous waste. The principle function of Vicinia is to collect and recycle waste aerosols. However, developed as an extension of the principal internally developed processing technologies, Vicinia have developed a manual on-site portable machine to allow the processing of otherwise waste aerosols.
